Amber the good said GOOD MORNING! How she finally found love – after preventing the courage from sending a message on Instagram.
The model’s model of Duran Duran, Simon and the model Yasmine, reveals how she fell for the author and former Rugby player Ben Mercer in 2022 after two neighbors – who have since become her baby sponsors – showed her his social media accounts, in which he makes book recommendations.
“My friend has been following him for a while and thought he seemed really nice, intelligent and sporting,” explains Amber, who exclusively presents his baby Sasha Echo in this week GOOD MORNING!.
“He said:” I found the perfect man for you – he reads books on Tiktok “, and he made me watch a video that Ben had made. I blush, and I never blushed, and my friend said:” Okay, that’s all. You will send him a message. “”

“And so I had these 20 very courageous seconds where I quickly hit a message on Instagram and I sent it. I think I said something like:” I don’t want to assume anything, but if you are in London, would you like to go drink one day? “”
“And I think he answered with something like” presume. “And it went from there.
The attraction only increased when the couple met for their first appointment in a London Battlea pub. “Once we organized the first meeting, we did not continue to discuss back and forth and we therefore had so much to talk about because we didn’t know anything about others,” she recalls.
“In this sense, our first meeting was a little old-fashioned, but the first part was obviously very modern. For me, the greatest thing that I was looking for in a partner was someone kindness, and well is funny, intelligent and the nicest that I have ever met. He had only been in London, so the moment was really faster.
“I think that if it was there longer, and I had been later, someone else would have removed it. He is so brilliant than a father that I have even more love for him. He was incredible; we are a real team. I am so happy to have found my person perfect.”
Nevertheless, Amber, 35, says that she and Ben, 38, are not in a hurry to marry. “There are not any plans yet, we are only doing our thing,” she said.
“I always wanted to be a mother, since I was very young. I used to push the babies of my sister in their Landaus, thinking:” One day, it will be you “, and then another voice would say:” No, you must first find the right person “, and I am incredibly lucky that I did.
“Now, when I push, I think:” Wait, it’s me, it’s actually my baby in a pram now. “It is such a pleasant feeling and I am so blessed by the whole.”
